Playground Proms! Summer 2024 & 2025
In the summers of 2024 & 2025 Kaye led Dalcroze workshops for primary school children in for one week each in different areas of the UK. In 2025 this included Cambridgeshire, Lancashire, London and Portsmouth.
Kaye introduced the children to music that they were to hear the following week from Graffiti Classics and introduced the music through Dalcroze principles. She also taught each school an anthem which was especially composed for the project. It was a wonderful and fascinating experience and she visited 79 schools over the period!
Discover Dalcroze Day February 2024
In February 2024 I led a Discover Dalcroze Day along with Monica Wilkinson, at the Royal Russell School, East Croydon. The day included ‘taster’ sessions in Rhythmics, Aural Training & Improvisation in order to give prospective students a sample of what they would experience in Dalcroze training. The students were responsive, enthusiastic and had a wonderful and joyful day of activities!

Dalcroze Taster Day February 2022
Kaye led a Taster Day at St. Andrew’s Church Centre, Mount Park Road, Ealing, W5 2RS in February 2022. The day started with an introduction to Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and sessions in rhythmics, improvisation and aural training . Kaye also presented a PowerPoint on Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Seniors Living with Dementia. At the end of the day she held a Q & A session for the participants.
Here are some quotations from the participants at the end of the day.
It was a brilliant day – there was such a range of ideas, the improvisation on names was great fun and Kaye was a wonderful, kind and passionate teacher. Thank you! Frankie

Super day with lots of great practical activities and experiences very much … lots to take away. Hamish
As well as being an excellent musician and an expert in Dalcroze Eurythmics, Kaye is a thoughtful and empathetic communicator. Working with her was both very productive and a pleasure for everyone on the course. David
